New Study: Mercury, Other Toxins May Cause Autism

Friday, November 7th, 2008

A new study was just published on the damaging effects of methylmercury on unborn children. It warns that mercury pollution and other environmental toxins may have caused neurological harm — including ADHD and autism — in up to 1-in-10 kids in the world, according to the website Science Daily. The study, published in the International Journal of Environment and Health, says that the methyl form of organic mercury (found in fish) can harm fetuses at levels that, until now, have been considered to be completely safe.

The finding “suggests that we should take a precautionary approach to this and similar compounds to protect unborn children from irreversible brain damage,” Science Daily writes. (more…)

Some Wines Contain Dangerous Metals

Wednesday, November 5th, 2008
(Nov. 5) - Wine is known to have some health benefits. But some wines carry levels of metal so high that just one glass a day may raise the risk of serious health problems like Parkinson’s disease or cancer, a study found.
British scientists measured the metal content of red and white wines from 15 countries: Argentina, Austria, Brazil, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Macedonia, Italy, Jordan, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia and Spain.
How can red wine hurt? Red wines from some countries were found to have high levels of metal, which may increase risk of neurological problems or cancer. Red wine triggers migraines in some people. Studies have tied any alcohol to increased risk of breast cancer. A 4 oz. glass of wine also has the same number of calories as half a Coke if weight control is an issue.

Deadly Immunity

Saturday, November 1st, 2008

There has been much discussion over the years about the famous Investigation by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and his article about the government cover-up of a mercury/autism scandal which appeared in Rolling Stone Magazine.

Deadly Immunity - ROBERT F. KENNEDY JR.

In June 2000, a group of top government scientists and health officials gathered for a meeting at the isolated Simpsonwood conference center in Norcross, Georgia. Convened by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the meeting was held at this Methodist retreat center, nestled in wooded farmland next to the Chattahoochee River, to ensure complete secrecy. The agency had issued no public announcement of the session — only private invitations to fifty-two attendees. There were high-level officials from the CDC and the Food and Drug Administration, the top vaccine specialist from the World Health Organization in Geneva and representatives of every major vaccine manufacturer, including GlaxoSmithKline, Merck, Wyeth and Aventis Pasteur. All of the scientific data under discussion, CDC officials repeatedly reminded the participants, was strictly “embargoed.” There would be no making photocopies of documents, no taking papers with them when they left. Should we really have called this off ?

Monday, October 27th, 2008

Today’s debate focuses on the governments decision to call of a study on a new treatment for autism.

An article in Medscape reports that The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) recently cancelled a study on a controversial alternative treatment for autism called chelation. Chelation, put simply, involves removing heavy metals from the blood usually by intravenous infusion.

NIMH’s rationale was that one of the treatments was linked to brain damage in rats and because there was no clear benefit to children the risks were deemed to be greater than the benefits. (more…)

Are Vaccine Pushers Putting Pregnant Women at Risk?

Sunday, October 26th, 2008

It seems as if the makers of vaccinations have no respect for human life - and the same is true for the government agencies that stand behind them in support of their propaganda. I have long been concerned by the way vaccinations are pushed on parents and the amount of vaccines administered these days to the poor children who have no choice in the matter.

With educational systems requiring vaccinations for admittance to schools, parents are feeling as if they are left with no other choice but to vaccinate their children. With the long term and negative effects of vaccinations still not completely understood and the effectiveness of many vaccinations still unproven, putting children at risk with vaccinations strikes me as a selfish and irresponsible tactic to make money. Lately, however, the vaccine pushers have really gone too far. (more…)

The Flu Vaccine Myth

Sunday, October 26th, 2008

by author Croft Woodruff

Statistically, you’d be more likely to avoid the flu if you took nothing at all. So why are we subjected to the flu vaccine media blitz each year?

In Vancouver, a BCTV reporter, commenting on the current flu epidemic that is overloading BC hospital emergency wards, claimed that of 32 people who were vaccinated, 30 caught the flu. Immediately, the news anchor intoned “It is not too late to get your flu shot. The vaccine is 70 percent effective.” [BCTV News Hour, January 11/00]

How does a 93.75 percent failure rate for the vaccine translate into a 70 percent effectiveness? Here is a vaccine with a success rate of 6.25 percent. This is an amazing under-achievement, since the average placebo response to distilled water injections is 30 percent-even to cure chronic low back pain. (more…)

Thousands of families sue over Vaccine link to Autism

Saturday, October 25th, 2008

The U.S. Court of Claims is hearing a series of arguments from parents who charge that vaccines gave their children autism.

The claims court is considering arguments from 4,900 parents who say that the vaccines produced autism or neurological problems in their previously normal, healthy children. While the disorder normally develops before the age of three, many of the parents claim that their older children only developed the condition after being vaccinated.

In order to deal with the large number of claims, the court’s Office of Special Masters ordered lawyers for the families to select three test cases for each of the three vaccine-autism arguments that have been put forward. (more…)

Chelation Therapy Has Been Approved — by the FDA as a Treatment for Lead Poisoning

Friday, October 24th, 2008

Chelation therapy is a natural way to detoxify the body of toxic chemical and harmful metals (heavy metal poisoning). Chelation therapy involves the injection of ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA). It is a mean by which an organic substance (Edta) binds to minerals and ionized metals (electrically charged) such as iron, calcium, lead, copper, etc.

The first use of Chelation is in Germany in 1930. A decade later, EDTA (ethylene diamine tetraacetic) was used by some American workers suffering from lead poisoning. After many medical studies, in 1950, Dr. Norman Clarke, director of Providence Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, noted the treatment with EDTA can improve or restore health from many diseases. These improvements include, but are not limited to reduction in angina pain, decrease skin diseases, loss and keeping a normal weight, decrease in heart disease, improving memory faculties and urgency of the senses (sight, hearing, smell), increased energy, etc. (more…)

Heavy Metal Eating “Superworms”

Thursday, October 23rd, 2008

Newly evolved “superworms” that feast on toxic waste could help cleanse polluted industrial land, a new study says.

These hardcore heavy metal fans, unearthed at disused mining sites in Britain and Wales, devour lead, zinc, arsenic, and copper.

The earthworms excrete a slightly different version of the metals, making them easier for plants to suck up. Harvesting the plants would leave cleaner soil behind. (more…)

No Link Beteween Autism & Vaccines

Wednesday, October 22nd, 2008

By LAURAN NEERGAARD - 5 days ago

WASHINGTON (AP) - New research further debunks any link between measles vaccine and autism, work that comes as the nation is experiencing a surge in measles cases fueled by children left unvaccinated.

Years of research with the measles, mumps and rubella vaccine, better known as MMR, have concluded that it doesn’t cause autism. Still, some parents’ fears persist, in part because of one 1998 British study that linked the vaccine with a subgroup of autistic children who also have serious gastrointestinal problems. That study reported that measles virus was lingering in the children’s bowels. (more…)
